Chapter two

Chapter Two.

He touched my face, he leaned over and was about to kiss me. I pushed him away, with hesitation. What was I thinking? Why did I hesitate to push him away? Am I an idiot? I promised to never fall for him again and here I am having second thoughts... I pushed him away and opened the door of his car and ran inside to my apartment and closed the door.. I breathed hard. With tension, my phone rang and I jumped a little. It was Helen that was on the other line when I picked up.

"Yeah Helen?" I answered still breathing hard.
"Nothing, just bored as always. What you up to?"
I thought about what I was going to say. "Um, err. Well I went to see him again."
"Girl, AGAIN?! Seriously girl don't get caught in your game. I'm warning you. Don't get hurt in your own game." her soft voice wasn't so soft anymore, but was rather more serious.
"Yeah, I know...Look, I'll talk to you later yeah.." I hung up immediately, the usual way I'd hang up to everyone else..without saying bye - that was only in my nature to do so.

I was agitated all over again, and checked to see if he had texted me...
No, turn off your phone you idiot! Stop checking it. I thought to myself, and I threw my phone across the floor.

The next morning was my third day at uni. Yes, I was only in my first year and everything was definately still confusing... I knew nobody around.. Helen was doing a TAFE course and all my other close friends were studying further around from where I was studying... I hugged my books tightly trying to squeeze into the gaps between people and hoped that large groups wouldn't notice that I was walking around with no friends... There were other people that were also alone.. but they were just like me..losties and timid people who seemed to be unapproachable...
I headed down to class, reading classroom numbers and hoping I wouldn't get lost again...
I finally managed to find the right classroom and walked into the room, hoping it was the right class only to realise that I was late...

"Sorry I am late..." I said with a bit of embarrassment.
My eyes skimmed across the room and there were no seats, except one at the back corner. I quietly made my way to the back corner.
I had to continuously keep saying sorry for accidentally hitting people's heads as I walked through them to get to my seat. Then when I reached my seat, a nice soothing sexy deep voice responded and said "That's okay. you're 'right."
For a moment, I felt like I've heard his voice somewhere before, but it was actually a stranger.. But my eyes melted the moment I looked up to see that he was a hot looking guy. Infact, hot looking ASIAN guy .. and we were the only two asians in the class.

I was definitely in the free fall.
